The development and meet of multi-culture is a very important trend in the twenty-first century. Faced with the challenge of multi-culture, each country has strong desire for militarization and its value in one hand;in the other hand, the stability and healthy development of society need the key view of value which most people can accept. Multi-cultural society and moral education of the school affect each other. Moral education passes the culture, meanwhile continuously creates new cultures, and provides new vigor and new prospects. At the same time, multi-culture propels development and reform of school moral education, strengthens the vital energy of national culture.At the end of nineteen century and the start of twenty century, America entered the industrial society from agricultural society. After world-war two, with the development of economy and society and pour of immigrants, America formed society with the characteristic of multi-culture. Nation and immigrant, political system, religion and economy globnizaion are the main reasons why America forms multi-culture society. The form of multi-culture changes the moral education curriculum of America. The first, value-orientation of moral education becomes wider than before. The second, the goal of training of moral education changes. The third, the content of moral education is structurally-adjusted. After 1980s, with the flourish of multi-culture, American society and schools focused on the research of the moral education, formed diverse reformal practice and theory school, successfully embarked on the reform of moral education curriculum.After world-war two, the cognition of multi-culture in American society experienced form "the seed of multi-culture" to "the crash of multi-culture" to "the amalgamation of multi-culture". Based on the background, the core of American school moral education reform experienced from "the opposition of communism and the foster of American spirit" to "the development of students 'moral cognition, judgments and reasoning ability" to "the concern of public profit, pursuit of social responsibility of individuals". In the context of multi-culture, moral education reform in American school has following features: the content of moral education is multi and unified;the goal of moral education is foster nation's American spirit. Based on the research of Americanmoral education curriculum reform, the author thinks that our moral education curriculum reform should respect and affirm students ' multi-choice;foster, cultivate students ' moral judgments and reasoning ability;pass the basic > key value-orientation;appeal to the change of moral education from confront to dialog and concern the human-orientation of moral education.
