| Current world is a multicultural world. With the development of reform and opening, economic globalization and modern information technology, profound changes have happened in the field of cultural values in China. Obvious characteristic is the single cultural value is broken, all kinds of cultural values interweave together and form multicultural pattern gradually. Undoubtedly the formation of multi-culture has important positive significance no matter for the prosperity and development of culture or for the richness of life and mind emancipation to individuals. But it breaks our original life under the effect and influence of single culture, not only results in collision and confusion in people's thoughts and values and great impact on social ethics, but also inevitably brings negative influence to adolescents' moral development. Facing the emerging multi-culture, many adolescents don't know how to choose, so they lose standards for judgment of true and false, good and evil, beauty and ugliness, their moral pursuit lacks of goal, their moral consciousness becomes apathetic and their behavior appears confusion. All of these put forward a severe challenge to moral education in schools.In recent years, people's research on moral education and multi-culture marches amid fire and thunder, but there are not many research jobs on adolescents' moral development and moral education under the background of multi-culture, especially under the current circumstance in China. So this paper mainly studies on the influence which multi-culture has already brought and will bring to social ethics and adolescents' moral development, analyzes the influence's gains and losses, directly faces to difficult cultural problem of moral education, explores the role moral education should play and is also able to play under the background of multi-culture.This thesis includes three parts. The first part focuses on the discussion of the multi-culture which we are facing to in China. It begins with the definition and interpretation of multi-culture. Then the paper reveals the reasons of multicultural formation and the cultural pattern which we are facing to at present. The reasons of multicultural formation are the time background of reform and opening, the historical process of economic globalization, the rapid development of network technology and the historical pattern of multiple nations. Then taking mainstream culture, elite culture and popular culture as an example, the paper launches a demonstration analysis.The second part attests the impact and challenge that multi-culture brings to school moral education. Firstly, it probes the influence that multi-culture brings to social ethics, which mainly includes the formation of multi-element values and the prevalence of moral relativism. Secondly, the thesis shows the negative influence of multi-culture on adolescents'moral development, such as the crisis of moral belief, the indifference of moral emotion, the weakness of moral will, and the disorder of moral behavior. Finally, the paper explains the puzzles of school moral education under the background of multi-culture, which mainly includes what kind of cultural standpoint should be owned in the theory, and what kind of strategy should be taken in school moral education practice.In the third part, considering the influence of multi-culture on social ethics and adolescents'moral development and the puzzles of school moral education resulted from multi-culture, the author proposes basic conception of school moral education. In the first place, it puts forward the mission of school moral education, which namely is cultural consciousness. In the second place, it suggests the standpoint of school moral education, which just is harmonious but different. In the third place, it refers to the principle of school moral education, which is viewed from the principle of opening and democracy and the principle of dominance and diversity. In the last place, it illustrates the content of school moral education, which mainly includes cultivation of students'multicultural consciousness, moral judgment capability and basic core values. |
