Folk fine arts is one of the components of Chinese traditional Culture, alsoone of the important components of the construction of folk culture. It is thebasic level of all kinds of arts and has the characteristics of maternalness andoriginalness. As a portion of primary art teaching, the folk fine arts not onlytallies with the adolescence and children's esthetic initiation, but is able topromote the ability to comprehending the native art and culture and the ardentlove to our homeland as well.In time of the economic globalization, along with the swift development ofmodernization, the civilization of agriculture is rapidly disintegrating.Meanwhile, a large number of outstanding and precious folk cultures of ourcountry are also breaking-down and vanishing at high speed. And the folk finearts are also being desolated and forgotten gradually by the adolescence andchildren, so that it cannot obtain the effective implementation in primary schoolart teaching.Through the collection of correlative writing material and thedirect-viewing material, consultation of the relative information, and variousinvestigation to the primary school fine art curriculum standard and fine artteaching material as well as the teachers and the students, the author discoversthat the " Fine Art Curriculum Standard" of full-time compulsory educationemphasizes on guiding the students to " participate the inheritance and exchangeof culture ". Most of the primary art teachers are able to understand the ideaabout promoting the national tradition in the new curriculum standardthoroughly, however, it is not optimistic about the cognition of folk fine arts.They have not achieved due level on the teaching pattern and method of folkfine art. Though the teaching material involves quite a lot of folk fine artcontents, it cannot satisfy, in proportion and forms, the students' demand forstudying traditional culture art, especially cannot satisfy the demand of teachingin different regions.According to the above investigation as well as the author's teachingpractice, this article puts forward the following strategy and suggestion about thefolk fine art teaching. Ideologically, by virtue of enhancing the cognition of folkfine arts, the teachers and students should realize that the folk fine arts study isone kind of cultural study and education for all-around development, one kind ofcultivation of ability in creation, and also one kind of formation of character andemotion.. Strategically, firstly develop the contents of curriculum standard bymaking use of the environmental resources: Choosing the local folk fine artstheme which the teacher is familiar with and conforms to the age characteristicof students;the unifies of appreciating and making must be achieved in theteaching process, and also unifies of substance and multimedia, at the same timeexperiencing the manufacture process by handling themselves;excavating andbringing honor to the local folk fine arts resources in the teaching process.Secondly, the study idea should be changed: Initiating the learning patterns ofindependence, inquiry and cooperation, and utilizing multiplex appraisingmethods to promote the folk fine art teaching.
