Social transformation, technical progress and renewal of ideas bring new challenge for the educational theory and practice in new century .Not only the transformation from educational system and ideas to educatioal approaches, but also the transformation from the idea of examination-oriented education system to education for all-round development influences the teachers'efficiency and quality of life. Influenced by factors of society, school and student and so on, teachers are supposed to set up new concepts of teachers, students and teaching, the rapid change of which leads to their negative psychological problems in many aspects, with job burnout being the typical one.Teachers'job burnout and its expressions have bad effect on quality of education, which not only hinders the development of the students'growth but also influences the development of the teachers'mental and physical health. In order to understand the general situation of college teachers'job burnout and the relationship between job burnout and some other variables such as sex, length of teaching, title and so on. and study the measures of protecting and relieving job burnout, the author takes total random sampling as the main way to choose 218 teachers in Jin Zhou teachers college to research by the way of MBI by Maslach.Searching endings of this study:1. The level of the emotional exhaustion of the teachers from higher education is serious, their disintegrated personality is ordinary and their sense of success is high.2. Job burnout of teachers from higher education is connected with school age. Teachers who have worked for six to ten years have a higher level on the emotional exhaustion than teachers who have worked for less than five years. In four groups of the length of teaching, the most serious of the emotional exhaustion is in process of the teachers who have worked for six to ten years. With the increase of the length of teaching the sense of success does increase, too. Among them, the lowest level belongs to the group whose working time less than five years, the less level is six to ten years, the higher level is 11 to 15 years and the highest level is more than 16 years. Different length of teaching has no marked differences on the level of the disintegrated personality.3. It does not have noticeable differences at each aspect even if the teachers'genders are different.4. Job burnout is connected with the title of teachers. Teachers who have the high level title are higher than others who have the middle or lower level title in tiresome emotional and the sense of success. As for the disintegrated personality, there are not noticeable differences.5. The Job burnout of teachers from high school is connected with the factor of the educational background. The teachers who are candidates have higher sense of success than that of undergraduates. There is no noticeable differences in other aspects (emotional tiresome and the disintegrated personality) even though the teachers'educational backgrounds are not the same.6. The teachers who have administrative posts in higher education have a higher level on the emotional tiresome and disintegrated personality than those who have no administrative post, but the differences are not noticeable. In terms of the sense of success, there are no noticeable differences.
