Self-worth sense is to be a guest individual in social life accepts a kind of positive feelings to know and apprise the main body of society and himself as a host. It is a aspect has great effect on person's know, mood and behavior .it is also the important aspect that affects the level of the mental health of person. This research applied the "Teenagers student self worth feels questionnaire" that was developed by Huang Xiting, subjects were choused from Gansus' coal industrial school.The result showed: Relative to teenagers student self worth sense nation-wide normal standard, in general the students' self worth of secondary vocational school is higher than nation-wide normal standard, and the most of students trend to definited appraisement, few partial student self worth have been was highest. Secondary vocational school students' self worth has sexual discrepancy, schoolboys' self worth sense were higher than schoolgirls' self worth sense in general slightly, and there were grade discrepancy. for two grade students' self worth were higher than three grade students' self worth, for one grade students' self worth sense is minimum, and there were major discrepancy .It is highest to have the students' self worth sense of professional discrepancy and mining project special field, the second was Resource and environmental project professional, the third was Electromechanical project special field, the forth was Computer and IT special field. There were significant effect from Body condition, the record of school work and the expect of the seek job on students' self worth of secondary vocational school, while the factors such as family economic atmosphere does not reach notable level. There were notable influence between with employment as goal, the secondary vocational school of the relative diversity of evaluation criterion, and with enter a higher school for goal, record as the ordinary middle school of evaluation criterion. The student of secondary vocational school need to know self and appraisement self again, positions again, self worth sense were in a kind of adjustment constructing state.In order to develop good self worth sense for the student of secondary vocational school, researches put forward following suggestion:( 1) reinforcement students' self knowledge education, ( 2 ) the reinforced education and appraisement of school work, ( 3 ) the labor schoolwork education of reinforced student, ( 4 ) reinforced fitness education, ( 5 ) reinforced employment idea education, ( 6 ) reinforced campus cultural influence.
