Investigation And Research On Tianshui Health Vocational Education Development

The health working faces many difficulties in China; the biggest is lacking talented persons. Firstly, the medical and health service units are short of talented persons who know how to run and manage. A few leaderships own the professional technique advantage, but lacking management and comprehensive arrangement experience; secondly, the public health area is short of professional talented persons who know prevention and control of diseases well and who are good at sanitary inspection; thirdly, the villages and communities are short of qualified talented persons who provide the basic medical service, prevention and care for the people. This kind of situation is outstanding in Tianshui, because the medical education in Tianshui lags behind, which is not in consonance with the development of economy society. The medical education in Tianshui is still in its infancy; therefore, it only trains the primary and intermediate medical staff. Compared with the demands of the Party Central Committee and the State Council of the People's Republic of China and expectation of the popular masses, the actual state of health working has a big gap.This text, facing the world vocational education, being based on the recent vocational education development, surveys and verifies the actual state and the development scale of health vocational education and the medical and health service units actual demands for talented persons, such as school quantity, school scale, teachers, experimental equipments, teaching conditions, student graduates and employment conditions, medical staff composition, education levels, demands for training etc., analyzes the reasons of the health vocational education's lagging and investigates the orientation of it, and makes some exploratory investigation in the position direction of health vocational education and medical education development.This research puts forward some suggestions of Tianshui health vocational education development in following aspects:1. To grasp "a position", it means to grasp the cultivation aim position of health vocational education, and to develop the practicable medical and health technical talents who have firm base, broad professional adaptation field, capable operation ability.2. According to the cultivation aim of health vocational education, to set up the reasonable structure of knowledge, ability, and quality in talents development, and to build the course system of health vocational education.3. To grasp the reform of educational thoughts, educational conceptions, instruction contents, and instruction methods well, to study the scientific management of school, and to improve the level of scientific management.4. According to the basic conditions of health vocational education, to grasp the profession construction, teaching material construction, field trip base construction, and "two-titles" teachers construction.5. To strengthen the propaganda power, it means to arouse the social attention to health vocational education; at the same time in concerning and inspection of education, to support the health vocational education so as to promote the overall development in education.
