The Study On Personal Knowledge Management Oriented Teacher's Professional Development

The teacher's professional development is now one of central subjects about world education reform. Along with knowledge economy time arrival, discussing teacher's professional development from the theory of knowledge aspect angle has already become the important direction in current teacher specialization research. As personal knowledge theory appears, more and more scholars have pointed out personal knowledge plays a vital role in the teacher's knowledge constitution. Personal knowledge management (PKM) is the individual application of the knowledge management idea and methodology. Tt is a scientific and effective method of managing personal knowledge. Applying personal knowledge management to managing teacher's personal knowledge will certainly promote teacher's professional development.This paper researched on teacher's professional development from personal knowledge management viewpoint. After researched on the theory of teacher's personal knowledge and personal knowledge management, the author proposed the integrated personal knowledge management pattern of "people first, technology second". Furthermore the author proposed three personal knowledge management practice strategies from the angle of coding, individuation and socialization in order to promote teacher's professional development. After the interview and case study of some outstanding teachers, the author summarized their successful experience of managing personal knowledge, and proposed five personal knowledge management method: write teaching diary, individual life history research, experience study, establish teaching portfolio, .individual theory construct. Through the analysis of current knowledge management technology tools as well as the teacher's personal knowledge management request, the author has constructed a management function model of teacher's personal knowledge management system.
