Writing, essential to modern people, is a necessity to develop in society. Writing abilities are demanded increasingly more and more high, and the specific requirements about writing abilities are explicitly put forward in the general objectives and hierarchical objectives in new Chinese Language Curriculum Standard (For Trial Implementation )(Beijing Normal University Publishing House in July, 2001 version), whereas we are not positive about rural junior high school students' writing levels, whose contents are vacant, arrangement of ideas are lack unity and coherence, main idea is obscure, the words fail to convey the idea and moan a groan without being ill.Accordingly, author, an Chinese language educator in rural junior high school, carried out questionnaires on more than 1,000 middle school students in four rural middle schools and two schools in town in Xiangyin county. Hunan Province, and have an informal discussion and an interview with part of teachers and students representing schools respectively. And according to present situation, author summarizes and analyses the case from seven aspects: Writing interests, Writing incentives, Writing difficulties, Sources of writing materials, Topics, Attitude towards the traditional lecturing manner, and Attitude towards the traditional correcting, and then probe into the superficial and in -depth causes. At the same time, after investigation and reflections, being the guidelines of New Curriculum Standard philosophy and knowledge of pedagogy and psychology and preview experiments, author, rural school environments and humane difference, surrounding students are the genuine masters in writing, ushering tectonic plate theory in geography,put forward four tectonic plate theory, namely emotion plate, promoting self - value and stimulating writing interests;material plate, broadening life horizon and opening up writing sources;writing plate, attaching importance to writing diary and enhancing writing skills;lecturing plate, strengthening self - education, promoting writing capabilities, the latter four suggestions are easy and effective to writing, and are beneficial to rural junior high school teachers and students in writing.
