| Nowadays, with the increase input in teacher training, the performance of teachertraining becomes more and more important. In order to improve the performance of teachertraining, this paper explores the teacher training from the angle of Human PerformanceTechnology (HPT). HPT is a systematical method to improve the performance of individualand organization by analyzing, designing, developing, implementing and evaluating.Based on the introduction of HPT theories, the development of HPT is reviewed in thispaper, and then the special characteristics of HPT are put forward. Furthermore, the basicmethod of HPT is discussed and the method is improved. Finally, by demonstrative analysis,the training of Information Technology is set as objective, after utilizing HPT to analyze,design, develop, implement and evaluate, the result is improved in teacher training.
