At the Beginning of people's rupulic of China, rural vocational education, which focused on restoration and enhancement of agriculture, has been paid attention to, and obtained development. In recent years, with the harmonious society construction and socialism new countryside being proposed, the rural vocational education has gained new significance, gotten new value, showed huge economic and social function. The new significance and function of rural vocational education, not only breakthrough the original ones, also take the original ones as the parent substance, there is very complicated relation between them; It is not only the result of the rural vocational education practice under impetus from the social development, also the crystallization by humanity understanding going forward unceasingly.Now, with understanding gradually explicited, how to realize its value better depends on the correct guidance and standard by rational policy. At a historical angle, the paper has the purpose to discover the regularity of the value judgment, the development measures and the implement adopted by main body of policy in different periods, by the research on question, measures and implementation condition of rural vocational education policy in PRC, aiming at providing reference to the rural vocational education policy construction at present in our country.The paper consists of five parts:First, reviews the history of rural vocational education policy in pre-liberation, analyzes the development of rural vocational education in the Republic of China emphatically. In this period, there were two kinds of pattern rural vocational education policy: the Republic of China government's standardization rural vocational education policy, and much flexible rural vocational education policy by the revolutionary base government. The folk rural vocational education experiments have had some important influence to the rural vocational education policy both in the Republic of China government and the revolutionary base.
