Research On The Teaching Adaptability Of Junior-middle School Teachers Of Chemistry To The New Textbook

Junior middle school teachers of Chemistry are the subject of teaching, research and evaluation of the new Chemistry textbook. Enhancing the new textbook teaching by junior middle school teachers of chemistry is one of the key as well as the difficult points in the course curriculum reform of elementary education. From both the theoretical and practical perspectives, this paper introduces the concept of adaptation in Chemistry, attempting a tentative exploration on the adaptation of junior middle school teachers of Chemistry to the new textbook.Based on an analysis to teaching in terms of the internal and environmental elements, which actively interact with each other, the new concept of teaching adaptability is presented with an introduction of the concepts of adaptation and adaptability,With the concept of teaching adaptability established, the concept of teaching adaptability of junior-middle school teachers of Chemistry to the new textbook is proposed and further elaborated in terms of its basis in curriculum, teaching psychology and pedagogical psychology.An investigation of the present state of the teaching adaptability of junior-middle school teachers of Chemistry to the new textbook is carried out with a brief literature review, a series of face-to-face interviews and a survey of junior-middle teachers' classroom teaching using the new textbook.With the characteristics of the new textbook of Chemistry and the present state of the teaching adaptability of junior-middle school teachers of Chemistry to the new textbook established and clarified, strategies are proposed for junior middle school teachers of Chemistry to adapt themselves the new textbook.
