The textbook of middle school’s ideological and moral course is a "mediation" or "bridge" in teaching process. The teachers and students should take the initiative to make good use of the "mediation", according to the textbook’s actual situation to adjust teaching and learning.The textbook of middle school’s ideological and moral course adaptability refers to in order to improve teaching efficiency, education subject use textbooks according to their own comprehensive ability, in the process of physical or mental status, as well as the difficulty of the dynamic, take the initiative to adjust self, adapt itself better to the teaching material, and eventually reach the purpose of to make full use of teaching materials, to dig deeper into a state of harmony. Understanding this concept can be from five aspects and the understanding is dynamic:teachers and students of adaptation to the textbook of junior middle school’s ideological and moral course is the unity of teachers and students, and the unity of the process and result, the unity of moral education and intellectual education, the unity of time and space, period and discipline.This article is based on people’s version of the application in the rural middle school as an example to discuss. First, to understand the characteristics of shiyan city’s countryside junior middle school students. These features on their performance--lower cultural degree of their parents, the education degree is not enough; they have a dream conflicts with the reality; they are very eager to parents affection, but they have to take care of themselves from life; they study very hard, however, study resources are limited. Second, after knowing the characteristics of students, we analyse the problems of the textbook of junior middle school’s ideological and moral course adaptability in the process of teaching in rural middle school. From the point of view of teachers, the phenomenon of "urbanization" in the textbook were not adapted to the survival condition of students and the performance of "politicized tendency" doesn’t fit the students’ political quality, the word number of teaching material used in the textbook does not match with the learning ability of students, show form of the contents of the textbooks doesn’t fit the students’psychological characteristics. From the point of view of students, moral cognition and moral identity is divided, moral knowledge and moral practice have a big distance.Aiming at the problem of teachers and students, mainly from the perspective of teachers to solve. Teachers can integrate the teaching material content, implementation across class and increase the local materials to adapt to the students’ learning appropriately; Teachers can strengthen the daily work of the accumulation of teaching resources in the development of curriculum resources, and write the repository.To the management of the ideological and moral teachers, we can implement professional management and improve the ideological and moral teachers’ subject status.
