Content:This article introduces the connotation, category and function of teaching evaluation, studies the tendency of the development of teaching evaluation and analyzes the present situation of teaching evaluation of Middle school teachers in China. On the basis of the theory of developing evaluation, this article probes into the practice of teaching evaluation of Middle school teachers in China. First, it studies the target setup of teaching evaluation. Then it proposes to establish the evaluation mechanism according with the present situation in China. In the light of the practice, it proposes some actual measures in teaching evaluation to implement developing theory. In the light of the case in Fuzhou No.2 Middle School, it analyses the actual use of teaching evaluation of Middle school teachers, and analyses the effect of evaluation of the case and the credibility of students' evaluation. Finally it proposes some problems in carrying out teaching evaluation of teachers in China and gives some advices to solve these problems.
