Entering 21st century, the countries all over the world accelerated the process of the information know-how education of middle and primary schools, this is one of the importants component of the global educational reform movement in the new century. Meet the requisition for citizen's basic survival ability of information-intensive society in order to train the future generation, our country regard training students' information literacy as goal offer information technology course extensively in all middle and primary schools. How to make it reach anticipated goal is what we concerned. This thesis, through summarizing existing research results, practical experience and existing problem systematically, adopting the research approach of consulting the document , information retrieval , questionnaire investigation , summing up and deducing etc., has carried on comparatively systematic research into the information technology teaching of the middle and the problem of improving middle school student's information literacy through information technology teaching.The part of the foreword has more systematicly explained this thesis' research background, domestic and international research situation, meaning and method in this thesis, put forward importance and urgency of middle school students' information literacy.Chapter one has defined the meaning of information accomplishment and explained the training object of middle school student's information literacy and content system.In chapter two, I have carried on objective analysis and appraisal to the current situation of middle school student's information literacy on the basis of questionnaire investigation, and have pointed out the question existing in the information technology education.Chapter three, has explained the goal and position of information technology course, through searching materials, research document, questionnaire investigation, interview,etc, the courses' teaching content and methods, evaluation criterion of middle school's information technology aided education are presented and discussed. In addition, some strategies and feasible methods are presented.Chapter four summarize this thesis and review , research and propose the request to follow-up.
