The Study On Current Situation And Affecting Factors Of Family Living Quality Of Young University Teachers

Taking the families of young university teachers as research object, carrying out the perspective of sociological theories, collecting the materials by the methods of the questionnaire investigation, document and case interview, combining quantitative and qualitative methods, this paper describes the situation of family living quality, analyzes the main affecting factors and raises solutions to a better living.The paper involves six parts. The first part introduces the research purpose, significance, situation and design. The second part describes the material life of families of young university teachers, and analyzes the degree of satisfaction with material life, concluding that the degree of satisfaction with income is general, however improvements in housing conditions and family facilities bring more pleasure to them. The main factors that affect this aspect are family income, the degree of satisfaction with family income, family facilities and some referring factors. The third part describes young university teachers' living quality in working, concluding that they bear more working pressure, the degree of satisfaction with individual income is general, however the appraisals to their welfare, occupational reputation, interpersonal ties and self-realizing are higher. This paper finds that they lead a better life. Affecting factors for this are the degree of satisfaction with income and welfare, acknowledge of developing prospect, appraisals of occupational reputation and realizing of abilities. The fourth part describes the living quality of young university teachers' spare time, concluding that they have much spare time and activities are not rich. Hobbies and tastes could be realized or not affect the degree of satisfaction with leisure life. The fifth part describes the quality of marriage of young university teachers, concluding that their marriage has a high stability level and a high degree of satisfaction. Affections, mutual understanding and the degree of satisfaction with sex are the main affecting factors of this aspect. The sixth part analyzes the degree of satisfaction with the overall life. Although in a certain aspect of their life, the degree of satisfaction is not very high, the overall life is fine. The main affecting factors are the degree of satisfaction with income, family facilities, woking, leisure life, marriage and some referring factors, at last, the paper raises suggestions for improving family living quality.
