Implementing quality education in an all-round way has become the major melody of the 21st century's elementary education reform in our country. Quality education requires fostering the students' scientific spirit and humanism accomplishment. As an important part of elementary education, mathematics education plays a decisive part in achieving quality education. At present, the whole country is engaged in mathematics class teaching reform like a raging fire and they have got great achievement. However, the majority has neglected the reform of homework arrangement and correction should go with the class teaching reform. Traditional mathematics homework is always to arrange a few exercises connecting with the content learned that day, which is helpful to deepen and consolidate basic knowledge and to faster the students' logical thinking ability. But it ignores the students' personal difference and cultivation of the students' non-logical thinking ability. So it results in the students' having no enough creation. And the homework appraisal is mainly given by teaches, which overlooks the students subjectivity and violates the purpose of quality education. In view of the above-mentioned facts, mathematics homework should break the traditional pattern ofarranging unified exercises and adopt different administrative levels and various methods. We should pay attention to fastening the students' logical thinking ability while we should strengthen cultivation of the students' non-logical thinking ability to develop the students' left and right brains. Meanwhile, changing the homework appraisal ways to let the students take part in it develops their conscious activity and creates open study atmosphere.
