Teacher, textbook and students are three crucial part in teaching. As a important factor, it connects teachers and students. In order to improve our teaching, we must take into account on textbook selection. In the past time, the power of teaching materials focus on government in our country. The system advanced the quality of elementary education at a time. With the time went on, it takes on many drawbacks. It should be improve to fit in with economic condition. Under the new curriculum reform, government make some strategies and policies to establish and improve the system of textbook selection to realize the diversification of textbook. However, education department are absence of theory and experiment. The essay takes a whole view to give a thorough demonstration on system of textbook selection. and expound some strategies in hoping of offering reference to the future work.There are six parts:Introduction: It generally introduces the reason and meaning of the research on the system of textbook selection, illustrates the essay' s framework and the most important concept: "textbook" .Part one: the basic issue on the system of textbook selection in primary and middle schools. This part elaborates the definition of the System of textbook selection, the essence and three characteristicsPate two: the theoretical base on establishing the system. It expounds four faction are used to establish the system, which are pedagogy—based, psychology—based, knowledge—based, methodology—based.Part three: the formation and operation of the system of textbook selection. This part introduce the element of the system of textbook selection, including regulation, entity, conception and medium It analyzes the working mechanism.Part four: The problem and countermeasure on textbook selection. in our country. It analyzes the present problems and obstruction of the textbook selection. Based on the current conditions. It draws several conclusion of the textbook selection practice and expound some strategies rest on this, my inspection included too.Concluding Remarks. It describes the future textbook selection and the effort we should make in terms of the existing problem of the textbook selection.
