Social equity is the precondition of educational equity, and the educational equity promotes the social equity vise versa. As one of the important means to promote social equity, educational equity experiences three stages which are jumping-off point equity, process equity, and result equity. Relating to equity and efficiency, the writer thought that we can't make abstractive judgment without thinking of the circumstance of what happened. It's good we adopt the efficiency rule which is "more working, more earning" in the beginning of the reform. But the polarization will corrupt the efficiency rule and equity is helpful to harmonic circumstance.In China, there exist serious inequities in educational area caused by uneven educational resource between regions, city and country or estates, especially at compulsory education stage. And the essential reasons are of wrong theoretical direction, improper investments and managements. Although everyone declares to work hard and try to vanish the great gulf, and the educationists have taken much effort to research on educational equity, but little effects obtained. It's true to the whole country and also to the developed area of the coastland. In the subjective schools which the writer had investigated, there are huge cruel inequities.To narrow the huge gaps and promote the equity, the writer think we should see that the educational equity is the important precondition of harmonic society, and we should correctly understand that education is the public product. We should build judicial protection for the educational equity, and we should refer to the experiences of other countries. The governor should pay attention to the investigation and draw the right laws, rethink the wrong policies, build better information platform. Through supervising the real time progress of education revolution, we can approach the best combination of equity and efficiency, to accomplish the ideal of best civil education.
