Investigative Learning is a profound revolution contracted to the traditional learning of passive acceptance of transferring knowledge. The fundamental change is the change of the way of learning. The final goal filters a series of learning notion and learning movement of the students to all subjects. Moreover, investigative reading teaching is just about the filtering and using of the modern education notion in the investigative learning of Chinese reading teaching.Investigative Reading Teaching is a sort of investigative learning in its broad sense and has solid theoretical foundation. It reflects the require that the Information Times put forward to Chinese teaching; it deeply excavates the culture intension in the Chinese texts, and catches the rich and generous humane resource; In addition, as a way, a method and a technique, Investigative Reading Teaching can catch the correlative information from the article to the highest degree by searching, filtering and analyzing the article, to promoted their creation and ability.The basic characters of the Investigative Reading Teaching are; First,Searching. The process that students fill the vacuity which is not accordto the text meaning by creating and assuring, is just a sort of process of' the science searching of the text. Second, Subjectivity. Students are thehost of learning. So in the process of putting forward the problem andactualizing the problem, students have plenty self-determination. Third, Opening. For the sake of investigation and solving the certain problem.' Students may leave the seats and assemble freely. Fourth, Influence each other. Teachers and students participate in the activities together; mutually accelerate each other to the improvement of knowledge, ability and personality. Fifth, Conformity. It embodies in extending and exalting the Chinese way in fusing the idea and the custom consciousness of the investigative learning.Investigative reading teaching may take the following teaching processes:1.Set up problematic condition. Pupil's learning interest and motivation can be improved by offering learning goal which has correlative datum to the learning content 2.Make sure a question for discussion or select a topic. It is mostly depending on the leading or suggestions of the teacher and students confirm the question for discussion by themselves. 3.Dividing and cooperation. Teacher should group the students according to the situations, students' interests and their attitudes towards the question. 4.Expression and communication. The students' individual conclusions should be given to the others, to deepen their cognition and comprehension. 5.Teacher's comments and summary. The key points of the teacher's comments should be on the learning course, not the result.Investigative Reading Teaching has two sorts of significances. First, scientific teaching significance. It develops new thoughts of reading teaching and forms the favorable, great Chinese learning atmosphere. Second, the significance of main body development. It can inspire students' innovative consciousness, and improve their Chinese comprehensively.
