The key to developing a nation is education, and the key to developing education is the teacher. Excellent teachers are the outstanding representatives of the teachers, and their development is drawing more and more attention nowadays. What makes them become sophisticated from an immature teacher? How do these factors affect them? How many phases have they experienced? As a common teacher, what can we learn from them? This paper will focus on all those questions.This research is done mainly in a narrative way.This paper analyzes the experience of a junior school teacher, telling a story .that the teacher promoted himself through hard working, actively learning and effectively thinking in his teaching career. From him we can understand how an immature teacher in basic education area becomes sophisticated.His story has given us some enlightenment. These points mainly include: Firstly, the teacher' s profession development is a process during which their respect and affection for their career forms and plays a role together. Secondly, the teacher' s profession development is the process during which their ability on teaching improved incessantly. Thirdly, the teacher' s profession development is the process during which they learn, practise and think constantly. Fourthly, the teacher' s profession development is the process during which they improve themselves through thinking and making use of all kinds of resources. Fifthly, the teacher' s profession development is the process during which they monitor themselves constantly. Through the teacher' s story, we can clearly see the process of a teacher' s profession development in basic education. The process includes: (re)learn→(re)practice→(re)think. He became the profession leader of a school even the whole area during the developing process. From him, we can learn how to be an excellent teacher with wisdom through continuing learning, practicing and thinking.
