Composition teaching is an important part in Chinese teaching. It is an important field in carrying out quality-oriented Chinese education and unimportant yardstick of measuring students'chinese abilities.The fundamental purpose of composition teaching in middle school is developing students'writing abilities and promoting their Chinese abilities allroundly.success or failure of composition teaching directly influences Chinese teaching and teaching reform .Therefore,it is imperative to overcome the disadvantages of traditional pattern of composition teaching and establish a new pattern of composition teaching.Writing is a key link of Chinese teaching,It is both a kind of complex mental work with creativity and a reflection of the abilities of listening,speaking,reading and writing.lnventing the teaching pattern of School Magazine for composition is to promote good all-round development of listening speaking and reading by using the initiativeness of writing ,to practise students'reasoning ability and to promote their abilities of recognizing and analying questions in addition to their logic thinking abilities and language expressing abilities .And eventually ,it can help cultivate temperament and humanism.According to the present situation of composition teaching which is "low interest,less practice,simple cormmunication ,no realization of groups" ,and modern educational theory,and new concepts of course standards,the article puts forward the theory of using School Magazine for composition as a bridge to promote the transformation of composition writing in order to cultivate students' writing interests ,writing qualities and aesthetic abilities.thus,it can form a free open,dynamic and formative writing process.Fristly ,the article bases on the character and laus of composition teaching ,Using the practical theory of Marxist Philosophy ,the theory of activity course and the theory of new course as the theorical foundation of this teaching pattern .Moreover, it probes into the necessity and probability of this pattern in the three aspects which are the change of the need for talents of social development,the necessity of carrying out Chinese quality-oriented education and the necessity of students' individual development and perfection and in the four aspects which are in the four aspects which are "psychological characters of senior middle school students, Chinese course standards and the publishment and fulfillment of new textbook, the gradual de.epgoing of the research of the theory and practice of activity course ,and richness of Chinese activity course's resources". Secondly ,the article puts forward the teaching tragedies of the teaching pattern of School Magazine for composition in order to stress the dynamac role in participating in Composition teaching .This pattern designs the teaching aims in accordance with " writing quality, writing capacity and writing practice " .And it establishes the types of simulatedly editing " School Magazine for Composition " , " Class Magazine " ,the combination of " School Magazine for composition " and " Class Magazine " ,and " collecting excellent compositions " . It develops teaching resources based on the colurme of " regular type " and " temporary type " and cieats four new composition teaching patterns which are " communiecative writing class " , " discussing writing class " , " independent introductory class " and " independent appreciating class " .And it also establishes multiple evaluating system of " teacher-student, student-student and family-school" using School Magazine as the nucleus .Moreover, the article analyzes the results of practical teaching and probes into a way of composition teaching transformation using School Magazine for composition as a bridge.After two-year's teaching practice ,the students' writing interest, writing activeness and conciousness all increase obviously. There writing logic thinking ,writing habbits ,writing confidence and writing capality change greatly and notably .Writing talents are excavated and cultivated ;teaching space is expanded; open, practical, democratic and active writing atmosphere is created ;creative conciousness of students is developed. Thus, there writing abilities are developed and promoted ail-roundly.The practicall research shows that it is practical and effective to promote composition teaching ,changing teaching methods and promoting students' writing abilities using School Magazine for composition as a bridge.
