As the deeper developing of computer-aided education practice, it is becoming one important concern of teachers that how to use computer and network to work and study more effectively. As a new way of information exchange, blog has been introduced into china in recent years, and attracted attention widely. The research on how to utilize blog platform to form study community to help teachers growing in teaching will be significant either in theory or practice. In this paper, the author summarizes the relative research on blog and analyzes the state of art of Teacher Blog in our country. On the base of investigation of teachers in Helie Junior High School of Wuxi, the author discusses the effect of Teacher Blog on working and studying of ordinary teachers of high schools. The author also tries to generalize the relationship between the Teacher Blog and the development of teaching career to obtain the principles and rules for construction and development of Teacher Blog.The main contributions of the paper are as follows.First, the author summarizes and analyzes the state of art of Teacher Blog, compares and analyzes some typical Teacher Blogs from perspective of quantity and classification, and induces the new features of them during their development.Second, the author has investigated the teachers in Helie Junior High School of Wuxi, who is 61.4 percents of all teachers, focusing on their motivation and influences concerning blogs, frequency of browsing and , deduces the general principles and hints on professional development of high school teachers with blog by real data and cases, consult the impact on teacher education and teaching of the school with the application of Teacher Blog.Third, Through the investigate on 56 teachers having individual Blog, 23 percents of teachers set up their blogs actively, others are propelled by requirement of the school, average logs are 25.15 and 3.07 accordingly, the percent of the update frequency is once per month is 44.64%, however 10.7% of teachers post less one log every two months.
