Content:For a long time, with the influence of the traditional education ideas, which take the "knowledge-based, teacher-based, teaching centered" model as the characteristics, it formed a set "teachers explaining, the students listening" model in which teachers regard imparting knowledge as immutable truth, therefore neglecting the study objects and stifling students' creative abilities. Along with the deepening of quality education, the problems of Chinese language teaching in vocational schools have gradually emerged, particularly with the contradiction between the imparting knowledge, the traditional skill training emphasized teaching methods and the quality education of vocational school. As a new teaching method and teaching activities, the inquiry-based teaching method meets the basic requirement of Chinese quality education. To introduce the ideas and methods of inquiry-based teaching into Chinese language teaching, we aims to help cultivate talents with language knowledge and creative ability.The study, composing of three parts, probes the inquiry-based teaching method in Chinese language teaching in vocational school through the combination of literature review, logic analysis and summarizing experiences.Part I ,Put forward the questions. Through analyzing the situation of Chinese language teaching in vocational school, the study puts forward the questions.Part II ,The research of the inquiry-based teaching method in vocational school. The study firstly describes the theory basis , the definition and the characteristics of the inquiry-based teaching, then argues the specialities, the principles and the significance of the inquiry-based teaching method in vocational school.Part III,The practice of the inquiry-based teaching method in vocational school. The study argues the following items: the roles of teachers in the inquiry-based teaching method in vocational school, the strategies of setting the environment of the inquiry-based teaching, the strategies of efficient guidance, the performance strategies as well as the assessment strategies in the inquiry-based teaching.
