With the development of our country's Higher Educational innovation, Higher Vocational Colleges face unprecedented opportunities and challenges. Because of the change of educational environment and the lowering of students' quality, female teachers of Higher Vocational Colleges face greater psychological pressure and serious lack of sense of professional achievement. This situation not only has a bad effect on their psychological health and the stability of teaching staff but also affects students' healthy development and Higher Vocation Education's sound growth. Thus, this phenomenon namely female teachers' burnout, poses a new task to the construction of Higher Vocational Colleges' teaching group. On the basis of previous relevant research achievements, this thesis takes 305 teachers from five Higher Vocational Colleges in Jiangxi province as its analytic objects and adopts methods of documental survey, questionnaires and statistic analysis, in order to make an analysis of the relationship between female teachers' burnout and demographic variable factors. The findings are as follows: the burnout exists in the female teachers of Higher Vocational Colleges universally, especially in the teachers who are at their age from 36 to 40; female teachers who teach for 11 to 15 years have more serious burnout than those who teach for different years; compared with female teachers who teach specialized courses, the ones who teach fundamental courses have more serious burnout; compared with unmarried female teachers, married ones are more likely to have burnout. This condition results from several factors. For example: the exhausted sense of knowledge influences a lot on the burnout of female teachers. Scientific research tasks and enrolling students work increase their burnout. Furthermore, among three factors resulting in the burnout, the most important one is low sense of individual achievement. In the light of the characteristics of female teachers' burnout and the status of our province's Higher Vocational Education, some countermeasures are proposed, that is, the quickening of Higher Vocational Educational mode's transformation and the establishment of new educational ideology; the creation of sound organizational environment and interpersonal relationship on the campus; the improvement of female teachers' adaptable ability and cultivation of healthy personality. Hopefully, it will provide some empirical evidences for the further research into teachers' burnout in our country.
