The article emphasizes the teaching model of inquiry . It discusses how to make good use of the teaching model of inquiry on the physics education of middle school. It experimented with four classes in Yuzhang School. By comparing the experiment classes with the ordinary classes, it does research on the mainly role of the teaching model in improving the ability of students.The natural way was carried out in the inquiry. Two different teaching model were used separately between the experiment classes and the ordinary ones. Both of the two groups were nearly the same such as the learning basis, teachers, teaching materials, studying time, environment and so on. After one year, evaluate the teaching effects of the two groups and compare the results of the two different methods.The result is clear: (1)It is popular among students and improves the students' interest in learning physics. (2) It will have a positive effect on improving stud-ents' marks (3)It clearly improves the abilities such as previewing, asking questions, making experiments, solving problems and so on. It also enhances the students' flexibility ,creativity and so on. It is also clear in improving students' learning ability.
