Along with China joining in the WTO, the trends of economic globalization and higher education internationalization are obvious day by day, the programs of Sino-foreign cooperation in running-school have rapidly changed their status from"the supplementary to China education"into"a part of China educational component". In the short development course in recent years, having paid close attention to the national governments at all levels and high institutes.In order to meet the main trend that the high educational reform is deepened constantly and the educational market competition grows in intensity, to introduce the advanced overseas teaching ideas and outstanding education resource to serve the development of school, Liaoning Institute of Technology has chosen the strategy of Sino-foreign cooperation in running-school timely with the aim of promoting the university's power, raising the standard for running a school, strengthening the competitiveness of the school and expanding the domestic and international influence of power for the school. The Sino-foreign cooperation in running-school at Liaoning Institute of Technology has grown through three stages: the stage of the embryonic form, the development improved stage and the scale stage. The Sino-foreign cooperation in running-school already became its organic component of running a school and has played an enormous role.This thesis has used the survey research method, comparative research method, statistics analytic approach and theoretical research, linking selected spots with that in entire areas. Using concrete cases appropriately, the author analyzes the background, the development and current conditions of Sino-foreign cooperation in running-school, and explains the developing history, the current situation, the mode of Sino-foreign cooperation in running-school, the benefit and the problems faced at the Sino-foreign cooperation in running-school at Liaoning Institute of Technology. The author set up a standard system to evaluate the programs of Sino-foreign cooperation in running-school and proposed the perspective long-term plan and the measures which should be taken by directing against the problems in Sino-foreign cooperation in running-school at Liaoning Institute of Technology with a realistic directive significance and a reference value of the theory to be able to undertake this kind of program healthily and a sustainable development.
