The Discussion Of Application Of Case Teaching In High School Political Lesson

With the development of society, more talented person are in demand. It is emphasized that the reform in high school politics to be held in autumn 2006 should be based on student's experience of life and focused on student's development demand, which will guide the students to discover and utilize each kind of knowledge to analyze and solve the problems .Meanwhile the reform also lays an emphasion on training the student's creating and enhancing the student's ability to participate in social practice. Therefore, the teachers of high school politics must further renew the education-teaching idea, transformate teaching-way. With my teaching-practice, this article discussed how to combine the US Harvard University's case teaching method with high school political lesson teaching.The first part of the thesis introduced connotation and basic characteristic of the case teaching, and compared the case teaching method with the traditional method and the example teaching- method.The second part of the thesis analyzed the feasibility and the importance of case teaching in high school politics.The third part of the thesis elaborately illustrated concrete organization of case teaching and implementation of case teaching in high school political lesson. First analyzed the role of the teacher and student in case teaching , Next, it emphasized several principles which case teaching must stick to in high schoolpolitical lesson. Once more, with emphasis it introduced concrete operating process of case teaching and called some attention.Finally, it mainly illustrated the present problems of case teaching in high school political lesson and the expectation for future development .The fourth part was summary of the article.
