Study Of Educational Needs For Migrant Workers Living In Different Residences

Along with the increase of the number of Migrant Workers, as well as the enhancement of the tendency settling down in the cities, the educational demand of Migrant Workers, whose cultural quality is relatively low, increasingly causes all parties' consideration. The government has formulated the related policies and measures one after another, and many researchers also have conducted the related researches on Migrant Workers ' national quality education, the safety education, the compensatory education and the existing problems and solutions in training. But the researches concentrating on the comparison of Migrant Workers by the Different Residences are relatively few. This study is trying to invest the educational demand of two groups of Migrant Workers who respectively live in Yongsheng Apartment and the village called Cangchang, so that we can exam whether educational demands of Migrant Workers living in Different Residences are different or not. If they are different, then what causes such differences?This study uses the qualitative and quantitative research methods, collecting the material about Migrant Workers' educational demand and the influential factors through literature interview, gaining the two groups' materials about their educational demands through the interview and the questionnaire survey.The study has analyzed the related concepts about the educational demands of Migrant Workers living in Different Residences, elaborated the vital significance. The strict research design, including the reasonable sampling method and the strict control over investigation process, guarantees the scientific nature and the accuracy of the investigation.By using the SPSS to analyze the data, the study discovers the similarities and differences in the educational demands of Migrant Workers living in Different Residences. Among them, the education projects that Different Residences Migrant Workers like best in their spare time have the significant differences: 3-6 month-long short-term technology trainings; adult occupational education; English training and higher education.After analyzing the differences, the study finds the reasons by dual logic return emphatically analysis: Residences, monthly income, the types of the career, age, network and sex. On the basis of the investigation and analysis, the study proposes the measures which can satisfy the educational demands of Migrant Workers living in Different Residences: uniting the education resources to establish the center of learning in Migrant Workers community, improving Migrant Workers' living conditions, increasing Migrant Workers ' income and controlling Migrant Workers ' workingtime strictly.
