Intone is an interesting and effective approach in teaching Chinese classic poems. People used to lay emphasis on this method, but somehow it has been ignored. At present, there is not a language Wenxin curriculum standard which shows deserved emphasis on intone, in addition, the teachers themselves are not familiar with the reciting cadence. These factors resulted in a break with the intone tradition. In fact, not only is intone suitable for the characteristics of the young students, but also can make them get twice the result with half the effort. Therefore, it is advisable for educators to give it a due place in teaching.According to the teaching process, the essay suggests that the educators implore this teaching methodology from the following 4 aspects: to determine the reciting rhythm, to choose the reciting cadence, to cultivate the reciting interest, and to grasp the lasting charm of reciting. Consequently, to achieve the desired purpose: to make students gain deep insights into reciting with a cadence, at the same time combining the rhythmical and musical feature of the pomes with their contents, thus to arouse students' interest and promote their efficiency, and eventually to reach the ideal state in studying Chinese classic pomes.Intone teaching methodology is now facing a serious crisis. This should make us be on guard. The educators should study this method and take immediate and effective actions to revivify it in the study in primary and middle school. With the students playing a leading role in this interactive teaching method and the classroom being the main battlefield, let's develop and center on all kinds of activities, thus to expand and develop this traditional art-intone of the classic pomes.
