As a middle school in the juncture of the urban and rural area, how to carry out its scientific quality education in the practical geography teaching and keep up with the times according to its facts? Based on this point, the author poses this question and conducts preliminary probe.First, this passage defines scientific quality geographic quality and geographic science quality; and briefly introduces the background when scientific education was raised, then sums up its existing state of study in the schools abroad and home. After analyzing the characteristics and its present situation of the geographic science quality education from the chosen subjects, the author puts forward to the importance and urgency of strengthening geographic science quality education in the practical geography teaching of the middle school in the practical geography teaching of the middle school in the juncture of the urban and rural area.Furthermore, the passage summerizes the teaching mode of the science education which takes in our country, and estimates the practical value of these modes to geographic science quality education. After referring to some successful geography teaching experience and tapping the resources of geographic subjects in middle schools, employing such study methods as interviewing, researching and comparing, combining with my own practice and introspection of geographic science quality education, I advance the methods on how to strengthen geographic science quality education and search for assess mechanism in the geography teaching of middle schools in the juncture of the urban and rural area.Finally, the author comes up with several points for attention while teachers carrying out geographic science quality education. In this way, the author hopes that we devote our own efforts to realizing the students' continual scientific development.
