Teaching quality management is an important factor in university management. It is an integrated system that comprises design, control and improvement of teaching quality and which has a special status and plays a significant role in university teaching management. However, due to various reasons, there are many problems existing in the present college (department) teaching quality management like weak quality sense, flawed system, low quality management level, inadequate process management and inadequate investment, etc. This paper puts forward the corresponding ways to solve the above mentioned problems in college (department) teaching quality management from aspects of establishing quality sense, improving management system, raising management level as well as attaching importance to process management, etc.Through review and analysis of researches into teaching quality management research and referring new results of researches both in China and abroad, the writer finds that there are relevantly few researches on the college (department) level in this field. To make up this, the research of this paper is concentrated on the "probe into teaching quality management at the college (department) level of universities", with process management as the focus.The writer puts forward the assumption of "establishing the precaution system in teaching quality management at college (depart) level of universities" as a result of learning from the precaution system in other industries. Meanwhile, according to the writer's practical experience in teaching quality management, class teaching quality management shall be attached the same importance as practical teaching quality management. In the teaching management of theoretical courses, the writer proposes to combine class teaching assessment and test quality analysis together for integrated assessment on the basis of the attendance system, the supervising system and the students' information feeding back system.
