Research On How To Develop The Ability Of Student's Independent-Study In Chemistry Teaching In Senior School

As a new type of study method, Independent-Study is introduced and encouraged to be used in new course reform. It has become an essential skill in people carrier development.This article introduce the Independent-Study history and current status in China and other countries. After some documents searching, the author described the characters of Independent-Study and defined the difference between Independent-Study and capability of Independent-Study. the author pointed out that the Pertinence Teaching is the key to obtain capability of Independen-Study. With the years teaching experience in Chemistry teaching, the author described the method to develop student capability in Independent-Study, i.e. by creating a self-efficient environment to stimulate student interest and confidence in Chemistry learning, optimize student learning methods and improve student meta recognition.At last, the author give an introduction for her one-year experiment on how to develop capability of Independent Study. Based on this experiment. the author comes to some conclusions: Independent-Study can greatly improve student's independence; it can encourage student to learn more actively and try different studying mode; it helps students to get higher Chemstry score; and it also provides a stable foundation for their study and development in the future.
