Research On Total Quality Management Of Teaching In The Secondary Vocational Schools

As one of the important components of the Chinese modern educational system, the secondary vocational education undertakes the vital tasks that cultivate hundred millions of high-qualified labourers. But in recent years, the secondary vocational education have many problems in the proceed of forging ahead under the background of China's becoming a member of WTO and the problems of itself , it is obvious that it's teaching quality has decreased very much.Therefore, the secondary vocational schools need to strengthen it's management of teaching quality, in order to improve the level of teaching quality.Aiming at these problems, with the reference of the basic theories of total quality management which have been cerlificated successfully in enterprises quality management,my paper first clarifies some concepts of teaching quality management in the secondrary vocational schools, analyses the reason of the use of total quality management of teaching in the secondary vocational schools,at last my paper put forward the new idea of total quality management of teaching in the secondary vocational schools. Regarding the processes and methods as models, my paper builds total quality management of teaching system in the secondary vocational schools from five aspects: customer-focus, process management, continuous improvemnet, whole involvement, leadship and strategy.During the procedure of fulfilling the total quality management of teaching, first, the secondary vocational schools should prepare well;Second, the schools should run it effectively according to the system of total quality management of teaching; Finally, the schools should construct reasonable index system of evaluating the teaching quality of the secondary vocational schools for supervising teaching quality. My paper designs, calculates and analyses total teaching quality from two aspects: quality of whole school's teaching, quality of the teachers'teaching. The thesis creatively put forward TTQI(Total Teaching Quality Index) for supervising quality of teaching .
