| The service for supported employment of the mental retardation is paid more and more attention by the educators, and it's gradually depended and widened. So for, the special children's education in school has been thought highly, but the service for the employment of adults is fallen behind. For the mental retardation in Beijing. It shows that our country is developing the service for supported employment and starting the work.This article studies from both the principle level of the specific practice level. It debates the basic formation of theory, and the molds of supported employment in principle. It studies the abilities of adapting to working of the mental retardation and the use and validity of the support strategy. It has gained some concept thoughts and advanced some specific ways and suggestions about the service for supported employment in the real situation in Luoyang, Henan Province in China. The aim of the study is : (1) find a valid way of evaluating system adapting to the forms of service of supported employment to show clearly the request of the employment and education of every student; (2)find a suitable mold of training adapting to the supported employment; (3)find the practical methods of supported vocation of the mental retardation; (4)form a valid system of following guiding way and supported; (5)find the practical volubility of the ways of occupation of the mental retardation in the middle of China through the experimental study, to provide something voluble for the familiar study; (6)let more and more people realize the importance of the supported employment. Here's a conclusion gained from the documents: Put the theory into practice and choose one subject to study. We choose one serious mental retardation and two medium (one with the support of family). The service for the three disabled in similar, but each has its own characteristic. The real operation goes with the basic orders, and gains cooperation from the family, parents, schools, employers and colleagues, etc. The practical study shows: (1) the mental retardation are benefited best in the service of supported employment and the possibility of employment is affirmed; (2)the materials which the mental retardation need in supported employment are varied; (3)on the supporting choosing strategy, the family and colleagues are the most important; (4)the effect of the supported employment is positive. The different ability of the subject before and after the experiment, the attitude conceptions to the mental retardation of the family, the employers and schools, and the suggestions from the parents and employers show positive effect; (5)the reasons affecting the success of the work of the mental retardation: individuality, the prospect and the cooperation of parents, the behavior of the disabled, the working conditions and other corresponding reasons.At last, the article shows that because of the restriction of this study, the policy and measures of the future development of service for supported employment, it lodges the direction of the future study on specification.
