Research On Undergraduate's Psychological Health Education In Political And Ideological Education

As one of our Party's virtues, political and ideological education is playing an important role in every field, especially the filed of education. As the fast development of the socialistic marketing economy and advancement in science and technology, the spiritual worlds of undergraduates in colleges are experiencing a kind of agitation and transformation never happening before. These young people feel puzzled under the influence of some negative social factors during the period of growing up and the issue on their psychological heath is becoming crucial for those teaching staffs working on political and ideological education. The main purpose of this thesis is to demonstrate how to break through the old and traditional educational mode, and meanwhile to explore a valid solution to the undergraduates' education on both sides of psychological health and political ideology during the new times.It is stated that each college has achieved some accomplishment to some extent after many years' great effort which help guarantee the good and healthy condition of undergraduates' ideology. However, the varieties of social life, the changing of living atmosphere and the influence of network lead to the various conceptions to values and behaviors. Meanwhile there are also some disadvantages in political and ideological education. Moreover, the moral level, managing capacity and educating mode of teaching staffs can not adapt to the requirement of the new situation as well. Undergraduates are becoming more mature, independent and this very transformation from late adolescence to the adult age just happens in their college times. It is not only of importance but also of great significance to research, analyse on the subject of undergraduates' psychological heath.As for the relationship between the psychological health education and political and ideological education, the author believes that these two aspects supplement each other closely and make progress in the same pace. The latter one pays more attention to the ideology and educates objects systematically according to the practice in work to arrive at the purpose of perfecting ideology. However, the prior one focuses on the psychology and help students remove and relax their symptoms, give them comfort, balance their mood, build up their good attitudes as well as strong wills, perfect their personalities, and adjust them to the society as useful and standard talents. Therefore, psychological health education is a key part in political and ideological education. The all-sided promotions of political and ideological education and the effective perfection of undergraduates' personality system will be realized as the effective combination of both two educations.After the analysis on the psychological heath of undergraduates, on the dialectic relationship between psychological heath education and political and ideological education, this paper also puts emphasis on how to strengthen undergraduates' psychological heath. This very education should insist on focusing on people, and penetrate the features of student's idea, life and study. Insisting on combining the teaching in the classroom with campus culture and social practice, combining the education with self-education, keeping up with the pace of times closely, striving to scientize the working mode of political and ideological education, we can finally help undergraduates to overcome various psychological obstacles such as anxiety, constraint, dread, and strengthen their courage and capacity of facing the frustrations so as to make them study and work happily and healthily.
