On The Main Problems And Countermeasures Of The Present University Student's Career Planning

University student's career planning is the demand of the development of our times as well as the need of their accomplishment. Growth to talent and value realization is the fundamental benefit and the first requirement; career planning which meets the need of this fundamental benefit is therefore an efficient form of exploiting new approaches of ideological and political education under the present circumstances. It also fully reflects a principle of ideological and political education that emancipating the mind and solving realistic problems should be combined. University student's career planning benefits the reinforcement of their self-awareness, the development of their initiative, and the realization of the good match between university student's education and career; it consequently helps their sustainable and life-long development.Guided by Marxist-Leninist Epistemology, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory and "Three Represents" Theory, the present paper employing related theory of ideological and political education, psychology, pedagogy and manageology offers a comparatively further discussion on the main problems of the present university student's career planning from the viewpoint of ideological and political education. Our basic train of thought can be described as follows: we start with the analysis of the main problems, and then analyze the factors of their appearing; finally propose relevant Countermeasures from the level of college's work.The body part can be divided into four sections.Part 1 presents the important significance of university student's career planning.Part 2 states the main problems of the present university student's career planning, which can be reflected in five aspects: firstly, planning awareness of the subject is too weak; secondly, cognitive method of the subject is too simple; thirdly, career orientation of the subject is vague; fourthly, the subject's planning and action is disjointed; lastly, feedback mechanism of the planning's practice is deficient.Part 3 discusses the factors why the problems arise, emphasizing the influences of the changes that have happened to university education and its environment.Part 4 proposes our realistic Countermeasures on how to improve the student's ability of career planning based on the analysis of the factors that influence it. At first incorporate the work of career planning into the whole working system of ideological and political education at school; next, explore actively the efficient approaches of university student's career planning; thirdly, establish a long-term mechanism to ensure university student's career planning; at last, coordinate the relationship of school, family and society and better the environment to improve the practical effect.
