The increasing economic globalization, rapid scientific and technological development, and social wealth bring in not only modern living but also various "civilization diseases". Health for all has become the main theme of the times, and the graduates' health is also paid attention. Postgraduate level of education is the best social groups. With the expansion of postgraduate in 1991, the graduate students become a huge social group, the number of which has reached more than one million. With the increase of the number of graduate students, the detection, evaluation, management and promotion of postgraduate health become a weak link. The health status of postgraduate has become a new, important and long-term task.This study uses literature, expert interviews, questionnaire, experiment and mathematical statistics, and other research methods, evaluates graduates' health problems, tests the body elements of 76 postgraduate students majoring in sports, reveals the relevance of the graduate health and body elements, conceives of the graduate self-rated health standards.The study reached the following conclusions: (1) Graduate health is not optimistic, 30% of which shows poor self-rated health status. (2) Health status of graduate students majoring in sports is better than other graduate students. The male and female students, master of arts and master of science, and graduate students of different ages has been no significant difference in the self-rated health status assessment. (3) The body elements of postgraduate is significantly related to physical health, psychological health, social health and overall health of self-rated health testing.
