TO carry out the spirit of new curriculum-reformation and construct a personalized basic education system, the first task is to improve the quality of the classroom instruction. Introducing educational games into classroom instruction is a useful way to accomplish the task. Based on investigation into educational value of educational games, this paper studied how to introduce educational games into classroom instruction and how to design educational games to achieve the optimum instruction result.The main research works are described as follows:(1) Differentiated and analyzed a few confused conceptions, put their relationship in order.(2) Tapped educational value of educational games based on many educational games case , and proved that the instructional patterns educational games provided was in consistent with those new curriculum-reformation required.(3) Under the guidance of related theory, the author proposed four modes about how to introduce educational games into classroom instruction, and analyzed both of their characteristics and practical flow.(4) Aimed at the proposed instructional modes, the author offered case analysis and evaluation of the effect.(5) Analyzed design principles of educational games from both game's system structure and educational perspective.(6) Concluded the experience in the course of research, meanwhile the author reflected some shortcomings in the research process and also looked into the future research work.
