| Nowadays the society has developed into a huge complicated system. And as a subsystem of the society, education has quite a complex relationship with it. Briefly speaking, the development of education is restricted by the progress of the society, and meanwhile it can also promote the progress of the society. As an important form of education, Vocational Education plays an essential role in the development of society and economy.This paper first draws the outline of the historical development of Vocational Education in order to find intrinsic rules in its development, which our present Vocational Education should follow. Then the paper analyzes the situation and characteristics of the present Vocational Education in our country, and some problems are raised. At last, a Talents Cultivation Mode suitable to Chinese conditions is provided.
