| Recently west provinces have been entering "two basics" crucial stage and acceptance one by one.Therefore, investigating the present situation of youngsters' literacy education not only can study futher this education in rural areas, also can influence nowadays the movement of all-people education throughout the country as well as construction of a new socialist countryside, and even the harmonious society's establishment ,which all have the vital significance. Moreover, through this research, which enables a part of literacy education in impoverished mountainous areas to obtain at least more attention. Thereby it enables the relevant government departments of education to have a more in-depth understanding of literacy education in later stages so that they take more effective measures to fullfil this mandate.This thesis, taking youngsters'literacy of Wuhu in Kangle, Gansu province as its objects of study,after a survey of this education in their daily studies and lives, measures of the local governments having taken, local primary's work for literacy education,I put forward some constructive suggestions to deal with the problem.The methods in this thesis during research are nature-find study,on-spot investigation, deep-talking,analyzing examples and so on.After referring to related books and documents, and deep-talking, I firstly got a deep understanding of literacy education's situation in this poverty area.Meanwhile, analyzing the local all levels of administratives and the teachers'role in this education.Then, I want to learn about the specially appointed teachers' and learners' attitudes and actions to literacy education. Finally, basing on this statistics,data and facts gathered, I propose some constructive suggetions.Through the literacy survey in Wuhu, I found the achievements of literacy are:first, the local population and literacy among young adults overall literacy rate declines significantly; second,universal primary education promotes literacy education; third,literacy education improves significantly the quality of local population,and so on. Currently literacy education problems are: first, removing the residual literacy is still an arduous task; second,literacy education is progressing rapidly, consolidating less , recovering illiterate seriously ; third, financial difficulties; fourth, teachers in literacy whose actual quality of teaching need to be raised.This research, from the governments, the education system and the social strength, which mainly analyze the reasons of the local literacy education's present situation , thus I put forward three big aspects proposals in this foundation. Firstly, governments at all levels of literacy education work hard for the creation of favorable external conditions. Secondly,carrying on literacy education reform .Finally, establishment and improvement of literacy education steering mechanism. |
