Thinking is an important feature of human spiritual activities. Usually thinking has thecharacteristics of specific, objective, consistent, practical and logical. High school studentshave attained the operation procedure and possessed considerable thinking ability. However,they haven't accepted systemic training on physics thinking. As a result, their physicsknowledge and experiences are quite limited, and their logical thinking ability as well as theirthinking nature is deficient, appearing as a thinking obstruction in physics thinking.The thinking obstruction in physics study is caused by both intellectual elements andnon-intellectual elements. This thesis analyses the thinking obstructions in physics thinkingand seek for the causes, solutions and countermeasures. This thesis also aims to overcome theobstructions and improve learning ability by relative training.This thesis consists of four parts. Chapter 1 analyses physics thinking and its basiccharacteristics. The quality of physics thinking is defined in this chapter.Chapter 2 analyses in detail the thinking obstructions in physics learning. By testing andby analyzing the College Entrance Examination papers and according to the quality of physicsthinking, this chapter concludes the types of obstructions that appear in the course ofstudying.Chapter 3 analyses the causes of the thinking obstructions in physics learning, mainlyfrom the following aspects: students themselves, difficulty degree of physics problem,relationship between students and physics problem.Chapter 4 establishes countermeasures to the thinking obstructions by uncovering them.This chapter is the core part of this thesis, researching and making designs on the obstructionsforming in the following five aspects: psychological fear to physics learning, "Firstimpressions are strongest" concept, stiffness in thinking, mathematicisation of physics formulas, hazy understanding of physics conceptions.By presenting some real teaching cases, this thesis aims at helping the students overcomethe thinking obstructions and improve the self-study ability. Hope teachers and students cancooperate and progress together in the process of teaching and learning.
