The research into"humanities"in the art education is the main topic that the world art education reforms will have to face in the new century. Humanities not only make the art knowledge and skills more powerful but also make the arts connected with society to the greatest extent, thus entrusting the arts with the highest value. The new curriculum reforms of senior high schools, started in the fall of 2004, for the first time emphasized humanities. The curriculum reforms consist of nine teaching modules, the leading and foundational one of which is the"Module of Appreciation". Therefore, it's very necessary to do a research on how to manifest humanities in the"Module of Appreciation in senior high school art education."This essay based on the educational thoughts of Later-Modernism takes Anshan No.1 Senior High School for an example, which is one of the first demonstrational high schools in Liaoning Province and discusses the topic mentioned above in the following three parts. Part one discusses how to base on teaching materials and tap humanities in them in terms of"emphasizing the multiplicity of appreciation environment and enhancing students'humanistic qualities","focusing on humanities in appreciation materials and promoting students'humanistic thinking"and"strengthening the comprehensive nature of appreciation and setting up students'views towards the arts".Part two discusses how to develop curriculum resources and expand humanistic influence on students in terms of"making reasonable use of resources inside schools and building an aesthetic atmosphere","making full use of resources outside schools and enriching appreciation practice"and"making good use of Moodle net platform and increasing the study space".Part three discusses how to focus on students and manifest humanistic concern over them in terms of"choosing curriculum contents and meeting the study needs of students from the individual psychology of senior high school students","designing teaching contents and letting students enjoy the study process from the cognitive psychology of senior high school students"and"organizing curriculum contents and promoting the formation of students'main body consciously from students'status".The author makes every effort to practice and summarize, providing a new way for the curriculum reforms of senior high school art education and an operating procedure for the realization of"humanities"in the Module of Appreciation.
