A new reform experiment in the elementary education curriculum is now underIts way in the whole country and neo—curriculum is prevailing among teachers and students . there is greater innovation and breakthrough in the neo—curriculum that in the present one in the aspects of its system, structure , function, evaluation and mangerment, etc. The current curriculum reform demands that the teachers change not only their teaching ideas but also their long—standing instruction---centered teaching and learning method. Meanwhile, it provides conditions and opportunities for the improvement of teachers and students. Therefore, the curriculum reform embodies both a challenge and a rave opportunity for the improvement of millions of teachers and students. With the approach of performance study as its main method of study ,the author conducted a year long performance study that ,under the notion of neo—curriculum , teachers performing of new teaching and learning styles in the teaching of chemistry in secondary schools with have an essential effect on helping the establishment of new teaching ideas and the transformation of teaching style.According to the standard of neo—curriculum , the neo—curriculum advocated in the new curriculum of high school chemistry will make a significant impact on the changes of practice of teaching and learning. Therefore, it requires us to set up a new mode of teaching and learning. According to the concept of the new curriculum,"To study independently, probe into and study and cooperate in studying"proposed in high school chemistry is changing, enriching and improving the traditional teaching and learning of high school chemistry, meanwhile puts forward newer and higher requirements to chemistry teachers.The thesis includes five sections.Section one : this section analyies the challlenges and new demand that the chemistry teaching and learning would meet with after giving an introduction of the notion of neo—curriculum of chemistry of the characterstics Of the neo—curriculum of chemistry。Section two : this part illustrates the essential of the innovation chemistry teaching and learning style under the neo—curriculum standard.section three : this third illustrates the aim of the innovation chemistry teaching and learning style under the neo—curriculum standard.section four: this part illustrates the new the chemistry teaching and learning style with thee specific property of"creates question ----- individual,cooperation,exploration"method under of the change chemistry teaching and learning style under the standard Of neo—curriculum...
