The designers of the new basic education curriculum reform wish the students to get further developments in this curriculum reform, and the teaching materials embodies this mind. So the quality of the teaching material will take a grate effect during the progress of the curriculum reform. It is also very important to try to find out the similarity of the teaching material to the standards and then use the teaching material successfully. Finally, the mind would come true.This thesis researches the People's Education Press edition of the New Curriculum Standard teaching materials of biology in senior middle schools and its schoolwork system after text, which is in order to find out the advantages and the rules of the applications in systematic ways. First of all, gives out the psychological and curriculum basic of the schoolwork system, then compares the new edition with the old edition of teaching materials'schoolwork system, and meanwhile summarizes the schoolwork system of the new teaching material is systematical, useful and open. Secondly, gives out questionnaires and interviews several teachers about the schoolwork system after text in the teaching materials, and finds four mistakes of the teachers'understandings, then makes some suggestions that the exercises should be used with different levels, different forms, different learning methods and so on. Finally, suggests that the teachers should study the standards, understand the students, organize the schoolwork system and teach in different ways.
