Public morals are Chinese traditional nice morals. They are basic rules for being a person. Good public moral awareness is helpful in forming better society atmosphere and updating the national qualities continuously. It will also make further influence in constructing a harmony society and advancing socialism cause. So, the Government attaches great importance to the construction of public morals to put forward the strategy of managing the country with morals, building up a harmony society. The group of middle school students is enormous. Its moral construction relates to the future of the country and the national prosperous. Middle school students are easy to be molded. They are on the best period of constructing public morals. Students with public morals will surely give out positive influence in improving public morals and keeping public orders. They will also be benefit to the construction of a harmony society. Hence, it will be significant much to discuss the students'moral situation and to the improvement of public moral education and students'moral awareness education.Basing on literature law, the principles of investigation and the combination of theory and practice, this dissertation systematically probes into the problems of"The study of middle-school students'social morality awareness and education", which may be somewhat useful in researching the teaching of school morality education in nowadays. Following are the four distinct parts of this article:The first part: The definitions and content of social morality and meaning of social morality, the relationships between them, and the further affirmation of the morality awareness of middle-school students.The second part: From the status of social morality awareness of contemporary middle-school students which based on the investigation result of the social morality awareness and education conditions of Guangxi middle-school students, most students who have strong awareness of social morality and consciousness will obey the standard orders and good manners because of the long-term morality education. On the other hand, the social morality awareness of some students is disappointed. So it is necessary to improve and strengthen nowadays middle-students'social morality education.The third part: From the analysis of the reasons why middle-school students are short of social morality awareness, the out finding is that the internal defects of traditional social morality culture, the effects of bad social ethos, the lack of social supervision system, improper of family education, the inner factors of students and the main problems of school social morality education all together leads to deficiency of middle-school students'social morality. Meanwhile, the reasons of social morality of middle-school students'troubles also include the warp of social morality education of middle school, the atmosphere shortage of social morality in schools, the limitation of social morality education and deviation of the conditions of the students.The forth part: The cultivation of middle-students'public morality awareness is a complicated and systematical project, which needs the attention and support of our society, good atmosphere of public morality education, the strengthened guide for family education, of course and the improvement and upgrade of the education of our middle schools, which based on the research of the tactics of how to strengthen the education of middle-school students'social morality awareness.
