Our Society Should Be Changed From Credential Society To Learning Society

The world of 21st century is the one that fierce competition appears everywhere. In such a severe situation, only"study"is God who can decide world's destiny. In another word, study has become a very important part of people's daily life. It means that more and more people in the modern society will choose study and further education to change their living conditions. Since 1960, research about learning society has been being carried on continuously. It's very important that both developed countries and developing countries should establish learning society. With those theories about learning society developing further, people focus their attention on studying how to establish learning society and its main characteristic instead of certainty and urgency of establishing it. Even they should do some further research on credential society, including its present situation, cause of formation; historic significance and motive that causes more and more people to want to become postgraduates. This dissertation will give you some important results of my study and explanations of learning society from sociological perspective.It has four chapters.The first chapter mainly introduces credential society, including its present situation, motive that causes more and more people to want to become postgraduates and its historic significance.The second chapter mainly introduces what about learning society, including its concept, its main characteristic, its task and its positive historic significance.The third chapter explains why our society should be changed from credential society to learning society. I analyze some kinds of maladies about credential society in order to explain that the establishment of learning society conforms to the historical trend of the times.The fourth chapter mainly seeks the ways to establish learning society from the perspectives of philosophy, science and pedagogy.It is very important for us to study the theory about learning society, because it can cause rapid development of our country. In another word, the destiny of our country depends on it. Nowadays, scientific technology has been becoming a powerful culture. In this background, our society should establish objective, scientific systems of theory and affirm the historic significance of establishing learning society fully. Especially as a postgraduate, we should focus our attention on it and analyze its main characteristic, the ways to establish it and its positive historic significance.In the end, the establishment of learning society is the most important way to promote the rapid development of our society and achieve the goal of all-round development of human's society.
