The main purpose of studying Chinese Educational Thinking is to find out the regulation of Chinese education and the core of Chinese Educational Thinking. To the Chinese people, Chinese education directly or indirectly affects such aspects as education, culture and religion. Chinese education brings more benefits to the Chinese people besides Chinese language. Studying Chinese Educational Thinking aims at pressing ahead the development of our national language education and teaching, promoting the advocating of our national language and making our national cultural career more prosperous so as to seek some other effective ways for realizing the great revitalization of the Chinese nation.Mr. Ye Shengtao is our great Chinese educator who was born on our land. He has years of experience of Chinese teaching and theoretical research. Learning from the excellent tradition of Chinese educational thinking and affected by the historical environment, he has constructed an adjustable Chinese educational thinking system of his own. It is of great significance to study his system historically, presently and in the future.This paper studies the main idea and core of Ye Shengtao's Chinese educational thinking to explore its national characteristics, its historical background and its effects. The key point is laid on its nationality. In addition, its present value has also been discussed, which presents fairly good value of learning and guidance.Particularly his thinking is extraordinarily valuable and effective to the creativity, popularity, high efficiency of future Chinese language education with aims in a scientific way. It is significant not only at present, but more importantly, in the years to come.
