Study On Construction Of Our Country's Adult Network High Eduction Quality Assurance System

Modern society is a lifelong-study society; it means that one should learn endlessly and all through his life. To meet the need, From 1998 to 2004, sixty-eight colleges have been authorized to set up web-based Adult High Education for a lot of on-working people. Along with the rapid development, people are beginning to pay attention to the quality of this kind of new adult education. This paper aims to research how to guarantee the quality and establish the quality assurance system(QAS for short) according with our adult network high education's situation.This paper is written under the guide of both adult education managerial science and distance education theory. On the whole, the author explores the QAS from two aspects: internal QAS and external QAS. This paper is composed of four parts as following:The first chapter, the author introduces the background of the theme selection and research plan, analyses the nature and the concept of quality of adult network high education and discusses several basic technical terms, laying the foundation for later research.The second chapter illustrates that the investigation has been made in adult network high education of South Normal University in order to find out present major problems about our country's adult network high education.The third chapter centers on the internal QAS. Firstly, the author analyzes the several internal systematic elements and external systematic elements, then guided by the theory of ISO9000:2000 quality management system, particularly analyses how to establish the frame of the internal QAS.The fourth chapter explores the external QAS for adult network high education. Firstly, the author expatiate the situation of QAS in USA and UK; and then, based on the formulation of evaluation standards, the establishment of certification and internal QAS mentioned above, explores how to establish the external QAS in our country.
