A Study On The Growth Of New Teachers' Practial Wisdom

Practical wisdom has a great significance in the development of teacher' s specialty. The practical wisdom plays a very important role in teacher' s development, which is the core of teachers' professionalism. It is necessary to research teachers' practical wisdom.This paper consists of three parts:The first part discusses the theories of the teachers' practical wisdom. After mastering theory knowledge, new teachers also need to generate and promote their practical wisdom in the teaching. The practical wisdom can help new teachers resolving the challenges that they are facing. So new teachers who want to be successful are all looking for it. What the practical wisdom of teachers is? What the relationship between the practical wisdom and pedagogical wisdom, theory knowledge, practical knowledge is? What are the characteristics of the practical wisdom? This part mainly analyzes these problems.The second part mainly analyzes the present condition of the growth of new teachers' practical wisdom and tells the inner and outer factors that affect new teachers promote the practical wisdom. The new teachers who were mentioned in this article are the teachers who have begun careers for only 1 ~ 2 years.The third part makes a number of suggestions on promoting the practical wisdom of new teachers. If teachers want to promote their practical wisdom, they should do their best to study and improve their teacher consciously. Except for the inner conditions, there are also some outer conditions. So this article gives some suggestions for new teachers to promote their practical wisdom. They may keep the growth of new teachers' practical wisdom in a new age.
