| Content: In the ceremony of the 100th anniversary of Peking University, Comrade Jiang Zemin called for"establishing a certain number of world first-class universities in China for realization of the modernization". President Hu Jintao also pointed out that"the key factor to the party's administrative power is its leaders at all levels". Therefore, to run a higher education requires not only a team of high-level teachers, but also a group of high-quality managers. College (department), as the basic unit and center of a university, functions as the link among all kinds of affairs. The leaders of college (department) serve as the organizers, leaders and practitioners of the university reforms at specific levels, whose managerial capability has a great influence on enhancing the party's administrative power in higher schools and the future of the schools. As a result, it has been an urgent task for universities to improve the college (department) leaders'managerial capability and gradually establish and perfect the mode, method and approaches suitable for training of college (department) leaders at present time.Based on earlier research of some universities in Jiangxi province, referring to the training practice at home and abroad for the teachers from different levels and school managers as well as the training modes of business managers, this thesis aims at bringing forward some suggestions of the interrelated principles and mode classification on the construction of the training modes in Jiangxi province, in the hope of attracting attention and support from related administrative sections and universities. |
